Multi-Year Accessibility Plan (AODA) – Ontario
Intent
This accessibility plan outlines the strategy of IGPC Ethanol Inc. to prevent and remove barriers for people with disabilities and comply with the requirements of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.
Statement of Commitment
IGPC Ethanol Inc. is committed to providing an accessible environment for all clients, employees, job applicants, suppliers, and visitors who may enter our premises, access our
information, or use our services. As an organization, we respect and comply with the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005, and its associated
regulations. We strive to provide an accessible and welcoming environment for everyone by identifying and removing barriers in our workplace and ensuring that new barriers are not
created. The company ensures that people with disabilities are provided with equal opportunities. We are committed to meeting the needs of individuals with disabilities in a timely
and integrative manner that respects their dignity and independence.
This multi-year accessibility plan reflects our commitment to comply with the AODA and demonstrates our ongoing efforts to create a barrier-free workplace for all individuals, including
those with disabilities.
Multi-Year Accessibility Plan
This plan is in effect from January 1, 2024 – December 31, 2029. This plan will be reviewed and updated at least once every 5 years and/or when required.

Completed Initiatives
IGPC Ethanol Inc. has completed the following initiatives to prevent and remove barriers and comply with the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation:
Requirement: Accessibility Policy and Procedure
- Conduct an annual review and assessment of our facilities, policies, and practices to identify barriers to accessibility.
- Create a Statement of Commitment for the website.
- Draft Integrated Accessibility Policy:
o Review existing policies and procedures to ensure that they align with AODA standards.
o Make policy available and provide an accessible format, upon request.

Requirement: Multi-year Accessibility Plan
A multi-year plan was developed in 2012 and updated in 2024.
- Review and adjust plan at least once every 5 years or when required by the AODA.
- Post Multi-Year Plan on website and provide an accessible format, upon request.
Status: Complete
Requirement: Accessible Formats and Communication Supports for Employees
- When an employee with a disability makes a request for an accessible format, IGPC Ethanol Inc. will consult with the employee and provide or arrange the agreed, suitable
accessible formats and communication support needed to perform the employee’s job and other information that is available to other employees.
o There are situations where accessible formats and communication support may not be provided. The situations include when: - It is not technically possible to convert a document to an accessible format. In this case, we will explain why and provide a concise summary as to why the information is unconvertible and a summary of the information.
- We do not control the information.
- Information is found on products or product labels.

Requirement: Accessible Websites and Web Content
- External-facing websites and web content controlled directly by IGPC Ethanol Inc. will conform to all AODA regulations and guidelines.
- Third party consultants provided support in updating IGPC’s websites and web content to be compliant with AODA requirements.
- Web content posted after January 1, 2023, will continue to conform to AODA regulations and guidelines.
- Third Party to conduct web accessibility audits on all existing websites and web content to determine if AODA requirements are met and develop remediation plan if content
does not conform to the requirements.

Requirement: Employment Standards – Training
- Ensure AODA Customer Service Standard training is delivered to all new employees.
- Ensure annual training on Respect in the Workplace, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, and the Human Rights Code are provided to all employees.
- Conduct periodic accessibility training for new and existing employees.

Requirement: Employment Standards – Recruitment, Assessment, or Selection
- Provide notification on job postings that accommodation is available upon request.
- If a selected applicant requests accommodation, IGPC will consult with the applicant and will provide or arrange suitable accommodation.

Requirement: Informing Employees of Supports
- All current and new employees in Ontario will be informed and receive updates regarding our policies and procedures related to accommodation for employees with
disabilities.
o This will be communicated in various methods, including new hire orientation and through monthly safety talks.
Status: Complete
Requirement: Workplace Emergency Response Information
- Provide individualized workplace emergency response information to all employees.
o Employees will be provided with an opportunity to meet with an HR Representative on an annual basis to update their emergency response information and/or when there are significant changes in their roles, titles, or departments.
o Personalized plans will be put into action at the earliest, feasible opportunity, from the time IGPC is notified of the employee’s need.

Requirement: Return to Work Process
- A written process has been developed and implemented for accommodating employees who are returning to work after being away due to an illness or disability.
- IGPC’s return to work process is currently enrolled in WSIB’s excellence program.
o Training for employees and leadership will be conducted on an annual basis.

Requirement: Customer Service Standards
- All new staff are trained in how to interact with people with different disabilities.
- Annual training is provided to current employees on an annual basis using monthly safety talks.

Requirement: Customer Service Feedback Process
- • IGPC welcomes comments and feedback regarding how we meet customer expectations pertaining to accommodating customers with disabilities.
o Feedback is accepted in person, by telephone, via email or through our company website. Feedback received through IGPC’s website is received by the Human Resources department.
